Beautiful Village is an acceleration program from the Central Statistics Agency within the scope of the village/sub-district/nagari/regional level to improve the competence of village/sub-district officials in managing and utilizing village/sub-district data so that development planning becomes more targeted. This program is in accordance with the eight missions of the Prabowo government, number six, namely building from the village and from below for economic equality and poverty eradication. In preparation for the implementation of the Beautiful Village activity, BPS Parepare City has coordinated with Bappeda and the Parepare City Communication and Information Service regarding the selection of the locus for fostering villages/sub-districts that love statistics and Ujung Baru and Sumpang Minangae Villages were selected as the locus for 2025.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, BPS Parepare City held a Socialization and Launching of the Love Statistics Village/Sub-district in Ujung Baru Village. The activity was attended by the Head of the Economic Section, Head of the Communication and Information Service, Secretary of the Parepare City Bappeda, the Head of Ujung Baru Village, and the ranks of the Ujung Baru Village apparatus. In his speech, the Head of the Parepare City Communication and Information Service, Anwar Amir, provided support for the implementation of the statistics-loving village with the hope that this program can help villages in managing existing data to become useful statistics in policy making at the village level. This activity also received an enthusiastic response from the Head of Ujung Baru Village, Sri Irma Arisanti, along with the ranks of the Ujung Baru Village apparatus to improve and build data management at the village level.
