Abstract

Parepare's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at the current prices in 2021 reaches Rp. 7.83 trillion and on a constant basis in 2010 reached Rp. 5.16 trillion.
Parepare's economy in 2021 compared to the previous year grew by 4.41 percent. In terms of production, the wholesale and retail trade and car and motorcycle repair sectors experienced the highest growth of 7.52 percent.
Growth in 2021 in terms of production will occur in most of the Business Fields. This is especially evident in the Wholesale and Retail Trade and Car and Motorcycle Repair fields reaching 7.52%, with a contribution to Parepare City's total GDP of 15.97 percent.
