Abstract

The publication of "Employment Statistics of Parepare Municipality 2020" is the first publication compiled by BPS Statistic of Parepare Municpality. This book presents an overview of employment profiles and indicators in the Parepare Municipality in 2020 as an embodiment of BPS responsibility as an institution tasked with providing basic statistical data to measure SDGs targets and national development. BPS conducts the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) which is carried out periodically in February and August. The statistics presented in this publication are the results of Sakernas which was conducted in August 2020. This publication contains data related to employment indicators such as the labor force, the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), and the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT). With the publication of the Employment Profile of Parepare Municipality 2020, it is hoped that it will be able to meet the need for data both for planning and evaluating development of Parepare Municipality.
