Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product by expenditure (GRDP) is one form of economic data display in a region, in addition to other forms of display such as GRDP according to business, Input-Output Table, Socio-Economic Balance System, and Funds Flow Balance. In a framework system (frame work) of economic data in a region, GRDP Expenditure is a basic measure that describes the use of goods and services (products) produced through production activities. In this context, GRDP Expenditures describe the "final" result of the production process that takes place within the territorial boundaries of a region. Various types of final goods and services will be used to meet the final demand by domestic economic actors and economic actors from outside the region and even from abroad. Some important aggregates can be derived from this GRDP Spending such as the variable Final Consumption Expenditure, gross fixed capital formation or physical investment, and exports and imports.
The calculation of GRDP through the expenditure approach cannot be separated from the calculation of GRDP through the business field (production) approach. Nevertheless, GRDP Spending is estimated independently using relatively different baseline data. Production GRDP describes production activities, as well as income received by the owner of the factors of production involved (remuneration for factors of production) 1. While the GRDP of Expenditure describes the expenditure activities carried out by economic actors to obtain the goods and services produced. Through GRDP Expenditures can also be seen in relation to the supply of goods and services originating from domestic and imported. Through this relationship, a macro balance point is seen between the supply side and the demand side of goods and services.
