Abstract

This publication of "HUMAN DEVELOPMENT INDEX OF PAREPARE MUNICIPALITY, 2017" is an annual statistical publication published by BPS of the City of Parepare. This 2017 HDI uses a new method in its calculation so that with this change can get a more complete picture of the level of people's welfare and indicators that serve as a measure of the success of regional development. The success of the publication of this publication was due to good support and cooperation from all parties who helped.

The HDI explains how humans have the opportunity to access the results of a development process, as part of their rights such as in obtaining income, health, education, and so forth. The HDI is formed by 3 (three) basic dimensions namely Longevity and healthy life, Knowledge, Decent living standards.
